Millersville University of Pennsylvania is a top-ranked public university located in the northeast region of the United States. It is committed to offering students a high quality, comprehensive university experience of exceptional value. Dedicated to providing nationally recognized programs that embrace the liberal arts, Millersville offers academic opportunities that are supported by outstanding faculty who are accomplished scholars and practitioners. Founded in 1855 as the first Normal School in Pennsylvania, Millersville University is one of 10 universities within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.

As Lancaster County’s only four-year public institution, Millersville University is dedicated to leading business outreach and workforce development efforts in Lancaster County and Central Pennsylvania. We work to strengthen our connections to community partners and regional/state agencies to support the current and future regional workforce.  We leverage the university’s assets through grants, online skill development, and incumbent worker training to provide cutting edge support for our students’ professional and career development. Our mission is to help our learners prepare for a new career or advance in their current occupation by strengthening skill sets and acquiring new credentials that will help strengthen Pennsylvania’s workforce.
